B.Sc., Nursing Course in Military Nursing Service. - Eligibility, Selection Procedure, Written Examination and Interview.
Are you interested to serve country? Interested to work as Military Nurse? Are you like to do nursing course in Military College?
Answer is here. You can do military nursing service and promote into higher rank in military with pride. Every year, students will call for B.Sc., nursing course during the month of February and course starts during July/October every year. You will be attending course in respective college of Nursing of Armed Forces Hospitals. Once you join the B.Sc., nursing courses, you will be given training for military services and after completion of training; you will be assign as military nursing officer. There is an agreement or bond need to be signed for 5 years bond who wish to join in military. During training period, you will be given allowance such as free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance and monthly stipend. There are six college of nursing in India, provide B.Sc., courses namely
1. CON, AFMC, PUNE – 40 SEATS
2. CON, CH(EC), KOLKATA – 30 SEATS
3. CON, INHS ASVINI – 40 SEATS
4. CON, AH (R&R), NEW DELHI – 30 SEATS
5. CON, CH (CC), LUCKNOW – 40 SEATS
6. CON, CH (AF), BANGALORE – 30 SEATS.
ELIGIBILITY: Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated or widow without encumbrances.
Date of Birth: Between 01 October 1992 to 30 September 2000 (both days inclusive). (2017 ADMISSION)
Educational Qualification: Passed XII examination or equivalent examination, as a regular student in all the subjects (PCB and English) in first attempt from a recognized Board/University, with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).
Candidates appearing for final examination can also apply. The selected candidates need to submit proof of passing in examination before joining the course.
Physical standards: Minimum height should not be less than 148 cm (relaxed by 5 cm in case of North East candidates). Medical fitness will be checked as per standards of armed forces and X-Ray examination of chest and USG (of abdomen and pelvis) will be done.
Eligible candidates will be called for an objective type written test of 90 minutes duration. The subject includes General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. Written test will be conducted during April and selected candidates in written examination based on merit will be called for interview during May. Final selection of candidates will be depending on combined merit of written test and interview and medical fitness. Admission to colleges of Nursing will be offered according to the merit cum choice.
Medical Examination: After interview, candidates will be appeared for medical examination. The decision will be made by President of Medical Board.

Jammu, Jhansi, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Secunderabad,
Thiruvananthapuram, Ezhimala (Cannanore) , Pune and Wellington.
