Senior Nurse – B: Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400

How Staff Nurse will be promoted in ISRO?
Promotion from Nurse – B to Nurse C. The minimum residency period should be Nurse B + 3 years.
Promotion from Nurse – C to Senior Nurse – B. The minimum residency period should be Nurse C + 6 years.
Senior Nurse – B to Nursing Superintendent. The minimum residency period should be Senior Nurse –B + 6 years.
This promotion norm is for nurses category recruited with SSLC + Diploma in Nursing.
What is the qualification for nurses to join as Nurse – B position?
Nurses should have SSLC/SSC + Diploma of three years duration in Nursing recognized by state/central government (nursing qualification should be registered with respective state nursing councils).
Nature of work
Candidates applying to the post of Nurse ‘B’ are expected to attend to general duties including shift/emergency duties.
Selection Process:
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Written Test and skill test. There will be an initial screening, based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line applications and only those screened-in candidates will be called for written test. Those who qualify in the written test will have to appear for Skill test.
The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on scores obtained by them in the written test. From amongst the candidates who qualify in the skill test, with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. Skill test, wherever prescribed will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not considered for selection. In case of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification shall be the tie breaker. Candidates will have to produce proof of the details furnished in their applications submitted on-line as and when called for.
Candidates called for Skill test will have to produce all relevant original documents, including No Objection Certificate, if employed already, in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, at the time of Skill test. If any information furnished in on-line application is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be allowed for Skill test and TA will not be paid.
WHERE STAFF NURSES WILL BE POSTED (PLACE)?
At present the place of posting is SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the Centres/Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated in India as and when required.
